Live all your life as a continuous offering at the feet of the present Divine Being.

— Swami Chidananda Saraswati

All of the activities which constitute the ashram’s seasonal programmes are offered for free. As a non-profit organization, the ashram depends solely on donations to cover day-to-day expenses. If you feel inspired to assist the ashram to foster its mission, please consider making a conscious donation. Each contribution is greatly appreciated and will be received with deep gratitude.

Non-Indian nationals can make donations online. Online donations to the Ashram are processed by our French non-profit support organization ‘Les Amis d’Ajatananda Ashram’ (Friends of Ajatananda Ashram).

Multiple donation methods are available and 100% of the donations will be used for the mission and the development of Ajatananda Ashram in Rishikesh.

To make a donation please follow the link below.

Only Indian nationals can make a donation in Indian Rupees via a domestic bank transfer from their Indian bank account.

If you would like to make a donation, please fill in the form below. We will respond as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours, and will provide you with our bank references.

With our deep gratitude for your generous support!

Do not think— “What will someone else do for me?”, but always think “What can I do for others? In what way can I make myself a source of benefit, happiness and help to others?”

    — Swami Chidananda Saraswati

Most of the work which assists the daily functioning of the ashram is offered voluntarily by community members, visitors, and participants. This selfless service (seva) is most valuable, both to the ashram and to individual seekers, who consider it an integral part of their spiritual sadhana. If you are interested in serving the ashram in any capacity, we would most appreciate to hear from you. You can approach a community member directly or contact our seva team by sending us a message. Please let us know of your skills and expertise!

It has been a blessing to be able to volunteer for Ajatananda Ashram and pursue my spiritual practice through selfless service. I have been very happy to share my skills with the Ashram Team and will hopefully be able to serve it more again in the future!

Seva means service performed out of love, and not with a mission.

    — Sri Chandra Swami Udasin

What a blessing the Seva experience is!
It’s a beautiful thing that Seva is available to do. To work alongside the brothers is wonderful as well. And then what is nice is to have tea together at 3pm. To sit in a circle, even silently, to come together after the individual work is complete, is important. One of the things I’m most grateful for in this Seva month is working alongside the other volunteers.
Sitting quietly together before we welcome the public is such a beautiful reminder of why we’re all here, for a purpose above our individuality. I have felt so supported and at home in the presence of the team and my spiritual focus is much enhanced by everyone’s quiet and loving presence. This experience has opened up unexpected things for me, one of them that I would like to dedicate my year working somewhere that’s mission is peace and joy.
The energy of Ajatananda has had a powerful influence on my heart! I’m so grateful it moves me to tears!

These Satsangs are coordinated by the Ashram Team and ‘Les Amis d’Ajatananda Ashram’, in partnership with Eveil Conscience, and will take place in French, with simultaneous translation into English. You will therefore be able to listen and see Swamiji in full screen and follow his teaching which will be based on a text from the Advaita tradition and followed, as in every Satsang, by a question and answer session.

Please note! In order to participate, your registration is mandatory. Please click on the ‘Register Here’ button below the description of the event to access the registration form.

To support the teaching of Swamiji and the Ajatananda Ashram, we will maintain the principle of conscious donation. If you wish to do so, you will be able to make your donation at the time of your registration.

The Zoom link, guidelines for the meeting and the text that will be commented on by Swamiji will be sent to you the day before the event. We suggest you either print the text or display it on an additional device during the Satsangs.

We invite you to keep your camera on and display your first and last name as your username for the duration of each Satsang as a sign of your full participation. Please kindly read our Additional Guidelines here.

If it is impossible for you to attend any of these Satsangs due to your professional obligations or time zone differences, please feel free to to contact us by following this link. We will do our best to offer you an alternative option.
