From 1st to 3rd of October 2015, Ajatananda Ashram was graced by the visit of H.H. Mahant Baba Brahmadas Ji Udasin, the 12th Mahant of Dera Baba Bhuman Shah Ji, Sangar Sarista (Sirsa, Haryana). Sri Mahant Brahmadas Ji is the Spiritual Head of a sangha of hundreds of thousands of disciples and devotees of the great mystic sage of the 18th century from Punjab, Brahmalin Srimat Baba Bhuman Shah Udasin (14th of April 1687 – 27th December 1747) who is also known as the Gurudeva of  the contemporary sage H.H. Sri Chandra Swami Ji Udasin. He is also in-charge of the numerous temples that have been built in different states of northern India by the Hindu followers of Baba Bhuman Shah Ji after they migrated to India in 1947.

After his elevation to the Gaddi of the Dera on 5th of February 2003, Sri Mahant Brahmadas Ji declared that he would spend his whole life serving the humanity and helping the poor and needy. Over the last thirteen years, he has also been spreading out the teachings of Baba Bhuman Shah Ji by visiting many villages and giving satsangs all over India especially in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. People of all religious traditions now regularly visit the Dera to seek the blessings of Sri Mahant Brahmadas Ji and to avail his spiritual grace and love.

Sri Mahant Brahmadas Ji was received on 1st of October with joy and great honour by Swami Atmananda Ji Udasin, Swami Tirthananda Ji Udasin and the entire community of Ajatananda Ashram, and was invited to preside over the prayers and arati to Baba Bhuman Shah Ji.

The next day, Sri Mahant Ji went to pay homage to the Samadhi Shrine of Brahmalin Swami Dayananda Saraswati who left his body on 23rd of September 2015 and met with the President of Dayananda Ashram.  He then proceeded to Gurdwara Hem Kunt Sahib, Rishikesh, related to the spiritual legacy of Akali Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji, where he was welcomed by Sri Darshan Singh Ji (chief director). After visiting the magnificent Gurdwara and the vast beautiful compound, Sri Mahant Ji was invited to have a festive lunch with the officials of the Gurdwara.

Sri Mahant Ji was then officially received at the Shivananda Ashram, headquarters of the Divine Life Society (Rishikesh), by Vice-President Sri Swami Yogaswarupananda Ji and Secretary Sri Gopi Ji who took him for a visit of Gurudev Kutir at the Shivananda Ghat, the Samadhi Shrine and the Sri Vishwanath Mandir. He then met with H.H. Sri Swami Vimalananda Ji, President of the Divine Life Society.

On the last day of his visit, Sri Mahant Ji went on a pilgrimage to several holy places in the nearby Himalayan foothills: Sri Vashishta Gupha, a holy cave of the Vedic times and the abode of Brahmalin Sri Swami Purushottamananda Puri (from 1929 to 1961); Chidananda Kashi (Kutya) at Kaudiyala, the hermitage of H.H.
