Visit of Revered Sri Shantimayi (March 10, 2016)
by

Revered spiritual teacher Sri Shantimayi graciously visited Ajatananda Ashram on March 10, 2016 with some of her disciples. The moments shared together between her and Swami Atamananda Udasin and the Ashram community were joyful and timeless.

Sri Shantimayi is an American teacher hailing from the state of Ohio. She met with her spiritual guru in Laxmanjula (Rishikesh) in 1988 at the Sacha Dham Ashram, which is situated along the holy Ganges river. H.H. Hans Raj Maharaj Ji of whom she is a direct disciple, is the fourth master in the Sacha lineage.  As all the Babas of this authentic lineage and in the line of the teachings of her master Sri Maharaj Ji, Sri Shantimayi has dedicated her life to the enlightenment of all beings.

Sri Shantimayi is the rare embodiment of the living “Principle” that resides within all. As the only westerner as well as the only woman ever to carry forward the grace of her lineage (Sacha) in the 1990’s, she has been giving satsangs for more than 20 years in Rishikesh and around the world and has attracted countless students from nearly every continent.

Sri Shantimayi has also been involved with many religious teachings. She draws upon the quintessence of many traditions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity as well as the spirituality of Aboriginal Tribes of the Americas and Australia. She is not held in the borders of a particular tradition but instead she honours them all without preference. She is an unconventional mystic and her essential message is that all beings are of one Truth.

To support the teaching of Swamiji and the Ajatananda Ashram, we will maintain the principle of conscious donation. If you wish to do so, you will be able to make your donation at the time of your registration.

The Zoom link, guidelines for the meeting and the text that will be commented on by Swamiji will be sent to you the day before the event. We suggest you either print the text or display it on an additional device during the Satsangs.
