Swamiji will share the quintessence of his teachings and will offer a synthetic view on the path and the non-dual practices leading to Spiritual Awakening and Self-Realization.
Special Evening with Meditation, Universal Prayers & Kirtans
All participants will gather for meditation, followed by a special evening of sacred prayers and devotional chanting.

Tapovan Villagers’ Kirtan Gathering (afternoon)
The entire Tapovan community will be warmly invited to join this heartfelt celebration of devotion and shared spiritual heritage.
Saturday, 31 October 2026
Interreligious Panel Dialogue (morning)
Swami Atmananda, together with teachers from various spiritual traditions, will engage in an interactive dialogue exploring the fundamental unity underlying all religions.
 
Interreligious Concert (evening)
This exceptional programme will be a true celebration of the oneness of Truth and universal brotherhood. Kirtans and sacred chants in Sanskrit, Hindi, Punjabi, Pāli, and Tibetan will be offered by laypeople and monastics from several religious traditions.
A light dinner will be served afterwards in the Ashram garden for all attendees.
Sunday, 1 November 2026
Blessing of Sādhu Sadan, the Ashram’s New Wing (morning)
The Ashram community will gather on the new rooftop overlooking the Ganges and the Himalayan foothills for a traditional Vedic havan, invoking divine blessings upon Sādhu Sadan, the Ashram’s new monastic wing, and praying for peace, harmony and auspiciousness for all beings. The ceremony will be followed by a joyful bhandara, a festive community meal shared in a spirit of gratitude, fellowship and celebration.
 
Interreligious Discourses & Closing Bhandara (morning)
This final and most significant day of the celebrations will mark the Ashram’s official anniversary and will be dedicated to interreligious sharing in a spirit of unity.
Swami Atmananda will open the morning gathering by presenting the founding vision of the Ashram and recalling the main stages of its journey, from its inception under the blessing of his Master to the present day.
The Head and monastic sangha of Sivananda Ashram will be in attendance, together with a highly revered contemporary Indian sage in the tradition of yogic meditation. Senior spiritual teachers representing various religious paths, including Theravada, Zen, and Tibetan Buddhist traditions, will also offer insights from their respective lineages. Representatives of other ashrams in Rishikesh will likewise take part in this concluding programme.
The morning gathering will conclude with a festive bhandara on the Ashram rooftop, open to all participants.

During this three-day intensive retreat, Swami Atmananda will explore in depth the central tenets of the Advaita Vedanta teachings, clarifying its key concepts and guiding participants towards a profound, subtle, and direct experience of the Self.
